Azalea Little League has a long history of providing a positive environment for our families. Our mission is to provide a family friendly, safe and affordable environment where all girls and boys are given the opportunity to build their self-esteem and character while learning the fundamentals and enjoying the games of softball and baseball. Our facility is a smoke free and pet free facility.
PLAYERS CODE OF CONDUCT
- No bad words during games or practices.
- Be kind and respectful to everyone—coaches, umpires, teammates, opponents, and fans.
- No fighting or threatening anyone, ever.
- Play fair and follow the rules.
- Encourage your teammates and work together.
PARENTS/LEGAL GUARDIANS/VOLUNTEERS CODE OF CONDUCT:
- Show respect for all individuals involved in the game, including umpires, coaches, opponents, and fans, and refrain from using criticism, cursing, or abusive language.
- Keep all comments positive and focus on providing encouragement, maintaining the perspective that the game is for the players.
- Refrain from coaching players, including my own child, during games and practices unless serving as an official coach of the team.
- Respect the authority of officials and coaches during games and avoid questioning, discussing, or confronting them at the ball field. Instead, schedule time to speak with them at an agreed-upon time and place if needed.
- Understand that only players, coaches, officials, and authorized volunteers are permitted in dugouts and on the field, with no exceptions.
- Acknowledge the authority of all League field officials, including umpires, league officials, and coaches.
- Take responsibility for the conduct of all family members and guests attending games as supporters.
- Abstain from possessing alcoholic beverages or being under the influence of alcohol or intoxicants at any Little League event.
- Contribute to creating a positive and enjoyable experience for all and report any violations to a head coach or a Board member.
- Ensure timely arrival of my child to practices and games and communicate promptly with the coach if my child will be late or absent.
